Prior to founding Primrose Research Group, I was the Director of Conservation Economics at The Trust for Public Land (2007-2021). I established the Conservation Economics program to leverage economic research to create parks and trails, protect land, and enhance funding for special places in communities large and small. In that role, I oversaw more than 60 economic benefits of parks, trails, and land conservation studies across the country from the State of Vermont to the City of Los Angeles, California. I also worked at Industrial Economics, Incorporated (2002-2007) conducting analyses of the costs and benefits of proposed environmental and natural resources policies, program evaluation, and natural resource damage assessment for various state, federal, and international agencies. I hold a M.S. in Ecology and Environmental Sciences and a B.S. in Natural Resources from the University of Maine.
